I. Daily Maintenance
1.1 Before treatment, use a three-way syringe to blow dry the handpiece connector to ensure it is completely dry before use.
1.2 After treatment, use a wrench to remove the working tip. Wipe the surface of the handpiece and working tip with an alcohol swab to remove blood stains. Rinse the head and connector of the handpiece with clean water, then rinse the entire handpiece. After rinsing, blow it dry with a three-way syringe and place it in a sterilization box for disinfection.
1.3 After treatment, turn off the power to ensure the main unit is fully powered off. Rinse the tail cable and the surface of the handpiece holder with clean water, then blow dry with a three-way syringe. Place the handpiece back on the holder.
1.4 Before and after treatment, always replace with a new disposable water delivery tube and promptly discard the used one to avoid cross-contamination.
II. Periodic Maintenance
2.1 It is recommended to disassemble and clean the handpiece LED light and light guide weekly. Unscrew the front part of the handpiece and clean the front shell, light guide rod, and LED light. Blow dry with a three-way syringe, reassemble, and place into a sterilization box for disinfection.
2.2 Regularly check for wear on the working tips. Replace promptly if severely worn.
2.3 Clean the surface of the peristaltic pump impeller regularly to prevent debris buildup, which could affect rotation and water output.
III. Disinfection Instructions
3.1 The handpiece, working tips, wrench, and handpiece holder should be disinfected using high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization at 134°C. Before sterilization, use compressed air to blow dry any liquid residues.
3.2 Always remove the working tip from the handpiece before sterilization. Do not disinfect it together with other instruments.
3.3 Disinfect the pump tube and pump tube connector by wiping with 70–80% alcohol, blow dry completely, then package separately for 134°C autoclave sterilization.
IV. Precautions
4.1 It is generally recommended to limit use to about 30 minutes per session to avoid localized fatigue.
4.2 Ensure the connector between the handpiece and tail cable remains dry when connecting.
4.3 Do not unplug the handpiece while stepping on the foot pedal and the device is vibrating.
4.4 When using the root canal irrigation function, start from power level 1 and gradually increase to level 3.
4.5 When installing a root canal working tip, make sure it is securely tightened. Do not apply excessive pressure during irrigation. Never step on the foot pedal unless the file has been inserted into the root canal.
4.7 Strictly forbid the following disinfection methods for the handpiece: boiling in solution, soaking in iodine, alcohol, glutaraldehyde, or other disinfectants; placing in an oven or microwave for high-temperature baking.
V. Protection and Storage
5.1 Store the product carefully, avoid impact or vibration, and keep it in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
5.2 Do not store together with toxic, corrosive, flammable, or explosive materials.
5.3 If the device will not be used for a long time, run water and power it on once a month for 5 minutes each time.
5.4 Storage conditions: temperature between -20°C and 55°C, relative humidity between 10% and 90%, and atmospheric pressure between 70 kPa and 106 kPa.
